Death by Morning

Combine the 0.75 oz Absinthe, 0.5 oz Branca Menta, 0.5 oz Coffee Liqueur, 1.5 oz Espresso, 0.25 oz Demerara Syrup, 1 dash Angostura bitters, and Pinch Salt in a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to create a thick foam.

Double strain the mixture into a chilled Nick & Nora or coupe glass.

Express the oils of an orange peel over the surface and discard the peel.

Garnish with a fresh mint leaf.
