Chill a coupe glass.

In a shaker, muddle Basil leaves, 2 oz Gin, and 1 oz Lemon Juice over ice for about 1 minute.

Add 1 oz Honey Syrup and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Double-strain into the chilled glass.

Optionally garnish with a Basil leaf or a sugar rim.
