Story and flavor
The Clover Leaf is a Pre-Prohibition cocktail very similar to the Clover Club. It combines gin, egg white, lime and lemon juices, grenadine, dry vermouth, and muddled mint for a frothy, floral, and slightly tart refreshment. Distinguished by that mint accent, it’s elegant, creamy, and subtly fruity—a true summer sipper from Philadelphia’s golden era.
