Place the Mint leaves in a cocktail shaker and add the 0.75 oz Simple Syrup and 0.75 oz Lime Juice.

Muddle very gently to release the Mint oils without shredding the leaves.

Add the 2 oz Gin and fill the shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously until the shaker is well-chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or martini glass to remove any small Mint fragments.

Garnish with a fresh Mint leaf floated on the surface.
